Dave Wakeham has been working as a professional Disc-jockey and Radio Presenter for many years.....

His passion for music and DJ-ing was influenced by the great DJ era of the seventies, This took him on a long journey through the world of DJ based entertainment. Starting at the age of sixteen Dave Wakeham became one of the youngest radio presenters and shortly after took him around the world to eventually end up in Hamburg Germany.

Over the years Dave has produced over a thousand hours of radio, worked in over forty clubs, in ten different countries, and now speaks fluent German as well as his native English.

Dave Wakeham’s musical knowledge extends way over the usual limits as he is able to play different genres of music at different times. Not only is he ready to play the hottest dance tunes in a club on one night, he can actually formulate a music program for a given age group at any given time. His understanding of audio production allows him to research, compile and produce entire radio shows.

Throughout the DJ years, Dave has been asked to play music at many events including Rock and Jazz festivals and love parade in Berlin during the 90s. Dave has also been involved in private parties, sport events fashion shows, after film and premier events, shop openings and birthdays.

The love parade must have been the largest audience, After trade fair " CEBIT / FFMM / IFA " events the most international and the sixtieth birthday of a famous art collector the most challenging.

 

 

On the technical side Dave started as a Disc Jockey in the pre twelve inch single and pitch-able turntable era, since then he has perfected four turntables mixing, tested presented and reported the first DJ mixing software on a trade fair in 2001 and is currently using tractor and ableton software with external devices to present digital music.

Over the years Dave has endeavored to supply quality DJ based entertainment and customer satisfaction, any place or time and no job too large or small, devoting full attention to doing the job of entertaining the people in question.

You can benefit from years of hands on DJ experience, extensive technical and musical knowledge. Music trends from the past, right up to the present day, and to suit a particular target group. You may also agree that there is a lot of really good new music from new artists and producers available today.  So, If you want the latest trends or go back in time then almost everything is possible, but not on the same night.
